Teachers are concerned that they’re not meeting the required number of hours set by the government to professionally develop their skills and grow in their field (e.g. if your major in The Arts, Humanities etc.). There are, however, many FREE Professional Learning opportunities that one can access at home. You should always aim to enrol in a course that provides a ‘Certificate of Completion,’ and I would highly recommend that you document your learning, by demonstrating how the course is applicable to your field.

These websites provide the number of PL hours you should be covering over a period of time and each state differs. Furthermore, I have also included a PDF with a list of potential PL opportunities for you to complete in the comfort of your own home!
