Creative Writing Workshop
Students in Years 8 & 9 have the opportunity to enhance their creative writing skills during this 2-day workshop.
You will learn how to…
• use good diction in your writing
• come up with ideas to write a short story or novel
• plan for writing
• create interesting characters using words
• shape a captivating setting
• use the Problem-Reaction-Solution (PRS) model to intensify your writing
• choose the correct genre
• overcome writer’s block
• write within a given time frame
